Property Description
This beautiful lakefront home is situated on an almost two acre wooded site overlooking a protected cove on gorgeous Lake Anna. The sunsets in the evenings are magnificent as the sun settles below the treeline to the west with golden rays reflecting off the water.Laurelin ("Song of Gold" in Tolkien's Old Elvish tongue) has plenty of room for entertaining and relaxing. A large den/family room has a 42" HD flatscreen TV with Dish programming and dvd player for those needing a break from the water. The central kitchen is very nicely equipped and features a "pass-through" to the den area.
There are three bedrooms, a sleeper sofa, bunk beds, and three full baths to easily accommodate ten people, as well as plenty of floor space for additional air beds if needed (two full size self-inflating air beds are provided). The master bathroom suite includes a two-person Jacuzzi tub as well as a large walk-in shower. French doors on both levels allow for great views of the lake.
Amenities include a large recreation room on the ground level with pool table, Xbox 360 with games, a Bowflex home gym and a treadmill. A canoe is on hand for paddling the coves and inlets of the lake, and a Club Car golf cart is available for an additional fee for cruising the private roads of the Oak Grove Estates neighborhood. A boat ramp, picnic pavilion, and small beach are available for use at the community Common Area.
Rental weeks run from Saturday to Saturday.
Check-in time is 4 PM and check-out time is 11 AM.
All rentals require a $100 cleaning fee plus 2% tax.
Until confirmed, rates are subject to change without notice. To confirm your reservation we require a $300 reservation fee and a signed rental agreement. 50% of the applicable rental rate plus cleaning fee and tax is due 45 days in advance (the $300 reservation fee will be applied to this payment) and the balance is due 30 days prior to your stay.
Damage insurance is included in the rental rates, so no security deposit is required. If you cancel the reservation less than 45 days in advance of the starting rental date or do not make the advance rental payments, the reservation will be canceled and the reservation fee forfeited.
